How can i I be come a successful IDEA student?

In order to become a successful IDEA student I must, follow all instructions given by staff and teachers, because if I'm on the teachers good side,I gain favor with them. Not that I get to do whatever I want its just that I have a little more freedom. Thats cool.

What have I learned at my last week of Idea Mission?

Last week at Idea Mission I learned, how to solve one and two step mathematical equations. My last year teacher, Mr. Pilon taught us how to solve them but after three months without school work, your academic skills start to get rusty. As Mr. Franklin explained the solving process , the skills I learned from the previous year began to return. One and two step equations are fun. Now we're learning how to ratio and proportion.

How is Idea Mission different?

This school is quite a different experience for me. I mean kindergartners in  the same building with  sixth graders seventh graders and eighth graders? That is a little strange for me. at my old school the eighth graders would have gone to the kindergartners section of the school and harass them. That should show you how bad things were at my old school.I'm sort of glad I came here.

How can I become an IB learner?

I can become a IB learner by using my natural traits. Like me I am a thinker. When a problem arises in one of my Lego sets,I try to look for any matching places on the set and try to use that as an example to correct the problem.I am also a inquirer, am principled, reflective upon myself, and a balanced individual. However, I'm not very open minded. I tend to look slightly down on other religions such as Muslims. The only reason I do is because they kill innocent people "in the name of God". The people themselves are fine its just their beliefs I don't like. Recently, I've been trying to be more caring about other people's cultures and beliefs.Im not much of a risk taker either. when a group project comes up and we have to present a poster board or something Im the one who holds it up. But, if nobody else in the group wants to get their hands dirty, I will  present our work. If i have no choice, I will take the spotlight although i try to avoid it. All my teachers say I have good presentation skills. That is one spotlight I don't mind.

How is my M.Y.P Technology class different from other tech classes ?

M.Y.P, I'm not exactly sure what it stands for, but if it stands for IDEA college prep technology class then sign me up doubly.
I already see the signs of an excellent quality tech class. Not that I've ever been to one. My former technology classes simply taught us how to type without looking at the keyboard and use various Microsoft office programs such as PowerPoint and word. These classes weren't so fun,but now I'm being taught how to blog and set up Gmail accounts on the second week of school! I'm really looking forward to the rest of the semester in my M.Y.P class.
